We offer a variety of different classes for dogs over 5 months. For puppy training please see the Puppy School page.
This 4 week course costs £75 and is suitable for dogs that have completed that are new to training or need to refresh the basics. The aim of this course is to train basic 'manners' or obedience to help you and your dog live happily together.
This six week course takes the basics learnt in Life Skills 1 or at Puppy School and adds useful tricks including emergency stops, recalls from distraction and leaving items alone, as well as self control exercises and introducing you and your dog to some doggy sports - £95. Sign up for Life Skills 1 & 2 together for £155 (choose BACS at the checkout and you'll receive an invoice if buying both together).
Whether you want to compete or just do agility for fun, pre-agility helps you train your dog to work with you in a safe and accurate way. Apologies, we are not running any more agility intakes this year.
This weekly class is suitable for dogs that have completed the life skills course or that have been assessed as ready to join the group. At this class we do a different thing each week; general training, rally, agility, trick training, hoopers, scentwork, doggy dancing, flyball & clicker workshops. Click on the Dog Club booking links below to see which class type is running each week. Classes are £10 per class. Run at Lane End on Saturdays at 10.30am and Henton on Saturdays at 1pm.
This is a relatively new group, started out of need after the pandemic, to help those dogs that get frustrated or over exuberant around other dogs or people, but in a friendly manner. The aim of these classes is to help your dog remain calm around people or dogs so that they don't pull towards or vocalise when in exciting situations. Please note, we may ask to assess your dog before joining this group, as sometimes our Reactive Dogs course is a better fit initially. These classes are held mid-week, at various times. Once you've joined the group, you'll be sent the poll for class times. Classes are £18 each.
These sessions are great for dealing with individual issues such as lead pulling or lack of recall. At £65 per hour session or 6 sessions for £360 any issue usually covered in a training class can be taught on a 1-2-1 basis - More than one dog? Price stays the same! We are currently holding 121's either online or outdoors at our Henton venue. Local home visits may resume from mid September.
Please note that our classes are currently almost back to normal, but we are maintaining some covid procedures to reduce the chance of spreading covid. As a small company, days off have a big effect on timetabling and income. Morally we also do not want to contribute to spreading covid. Please do not attend classes or 121's if you test positive for covid.
Jenny has been great training Jack & Jill, from day one I have seen improvements and they are a joy to live with; I have never had such well trained dogs. Jenny has been really patient and has helped me find ways to train the puppies around my commitments, even taking them for intensive training when I have been busy studying. Two puppies at once may not have been the best idea, but Jenny has helped me make it work and I wouldn't trade them for the world
Jenny's dog training classes were excellent. Her clear and calm approach worked well with our excitable puppy
Thank you for the help you have given me with the training of Otto. I hope that your business goes from strength to strength as you are an excellent teacher.
Thank you so much for coming today. We are really impressed with your ideas and we can see Bella is already responding.
Jenny came to meet our puppy Milo as he was scared of other dogs and displaying signs of separation anxiety. Jenny spent an hour with us, and gave us some tips of how to help Milo work things out. Namely, introduced tasty treats, of cheese and chicken/ ham pieces, playing "find it", and distracting him when other dogs are approaching, and so on. We followed Jenny's advice to the letter, and he is now doing brilliantly! He looks at other dogs, and greets appropriately, then looks to me for a treat, knowing he has done well!

Jenny is very good. Has been much help to me and Rio
Jenny's improver classes were fantastic for my lively rescue dog, Sam. Her patience and understanding with both of us, and innovative approaches to his behavioural issues have been invaluable. Sam is now a much calmer, happier dog who adores Jenny!
A fun learning experience for my puppy, he has turned into a very well-mannered dog thanks to the help of the puppy classes
Very good introduction to obedience for Emerson, but excellent learning for us on how to teach him.
Jenny has been an invaluable part of our lives since we bought our first ever puppy. The puppy and improver classes gave us the skills needed to help develop our puppy into a wonderfully rounded, sociable and fun dog to be with. Jenny's knowledge, patience and calm nature is so reassuring for us and we look forward to her classes every week as our one year old grows from strength to strength in her training - not to mention how much fun our lively dog has in her classes, she simply adores Jenny! We also use Jenny's dog sitting and walking services, which is an amazing resource to be able to call upon. Jenny is 100% trustworthy, reliable and caring - a combination that is as valuable as gold dust. Suffice to say we feel sorry for people that don't have Jenny in their lives.
